Summer 2026 Update

Some of the highlights of God’s steadfast faithfulness for us this summer have been seeing various doors opening, some of which have been a long time coming.

  • Pastor training — Pastors are key to strengthening education and discipleship in the Church, yet the many demands on their time often pull them away from this focus. We’ve seen inspired AMO® trainees discouraged when their home churches lack vision. Now, we are grateful that a university and a seminary in Mexico—YPM and Sureste—have invited Francelia to teach writing, composition, and biblical languages, and to help future pastors to prioritize Christian education in their congregations. As pastors grasp God’s principles for education, parents and teachers are better supported as they disciple their children.
  • Biblicus program — Pray for the transition of the Biblicus mentoring and scholarship program as we approach the final class of seminary students in 2027. Plans are underway to teach the same biblical principles for education taught in the AMO® Program in seminary and university courses, allowing students to receive academic credit while being grounded in a biblical Christian philosophy of education.
  • Family relocation — Having semi‑dependent family members move closer to us has been a tremendous blessing, reducing our travel time and giving us more energy for ministry.
  • Children’s programs — Equipping teachers for children’s programs remains at the very core of our calling. Below are photos from a few ministries using AMO® Program.
  • Organizational stewardship — As we approach 2027, we ask your prayers as our roles take on greater responsibility to steward, guide, and encourage the ministry internationally. As servant leaders, we pray for strong bonds to continue forming with longtime AMO® leaders who have faithfully served God’s calling in their own nations.

A Word of Thanks

Through teaching, mentoring, administration, and pastoral engagement, we continue to see God’s hand guiding each step. Your prayers and support make this work possible, and we are deeply grateful. The Lord is building up teachers, strengthening families, and opening new doors for discipleship across nations.

Thank you for walking with us in this ministry.

March 2026

Our team has been busy preparing for the 2026–27 online course for new AMO® Trainers of Teachers. It was our privilege to interview those who applied, and we are grateful for the opportunity to hear how God is using them in their ministries. Twenty-one individuals will begin the course on March 17.

Nineteen participants represent seven countries across Latin America, and two are from the United States. The testimonies they shared about their work as AMO® teachers of children were deeply inspiring. It was encouraging to hear how the AMO Program has strengthened them as they serve their students and collaborate with many parents in their communities.

Here are just a few of their comments:

“Our children loved studying the Psalms (an AMO® Teacher Guide). We were surprised by their enthusiasm for learning Hebrew words, and they especially enjoyed the exercises on writing a Psalm of their own.”

“Being introduced to the AMO® Program was an answer to prayer. The Bible-focused curriculum is exactly what our church needed.”

“I wasn’t expecting how the Word of God in the lesson guides would impact me personally. The program transformed the way I teach and relate to the children—and it even strengthened my marriage.”

One testimony that especially moved us came from an applicant who described her struggle while pursuing higher education. “We live a lie in this country,” she said, explaining how discouraging it was to spend time and resources on college classes where professors often spent the time talking about themselves while many students had little desire to learn. “Everyone was just there to pass the time.” In contrast, she described working with the AMO® Program as an enriching and meaningful experience for both her and the children in her church.

Please pray for these individuals who are already being used by God in powerful ways in their nations. Pray for everyone involved in the course—students, eight faculty, and support team—that everything will run smoothly and that God will protect the course and the families of those participating. And please pray that churches everywhere will embrace the spirit of Deuteronomy 6:6–7, empowering families with godly education that helps children grow into their potential and discover the great plans God has for each one of them.

Blessings to each of you. Thank you for your support.
